If we are teaching students to interact with others in a global language\, then we must equip them to do so as they interpret what they see and respond and communicate accordingly. So what is ‘visual literacy’ and why is it important in ELT? This session addresses these questions and looks at materials and strategies for teaching learners of all ages groups and levels.
